David Crockett is depicted in his last moments with butcher knife drawn and right arm raised wielding a weapon as a club. His raised hand is modeled empty and a selection of weapons including a long rifle with a broken butt is supplied for you to arm your "Davy" as you wish.

JOE*  William Travis's slave. Joe stayed with Travis until he was killed at the North Wall. He survived the massacre at the Alamo and we owe much of what we know about what happened there to his account.

JAMES BOWIE* Charismatic Colonel of Volunteers, knife fighting legend, and larger than life personality Bowie is depicted half dressed, up from his sick bed, blade in hand and prepared to sell his life dearly. A "romantic" interpretation of Bowie's demise to be sure but one in keeping with the Alamo legend.

WILLIAM BARRETT TRAVIS* Commanding Officer at the Alamo. Travis is shown shotgun in hand and gesturing at the enemy.

co"COME AND TAKE IT!" GUN -AUD$10.00

In October 1835 the Mexican authorities demanded that the settlement of Gonzales Texas surrender an obsolete small artillery gun. The people of Gonzales refused the demand and proclaimed "Come and Take It!". The subsequent skirmish led to the mobilization of the Texian Militia and the outbreak of a conflict that became the Texas War of Independence. Cannon Fodder's model of this famous gun is designed to show all of the original's improvised character. There is even a Lone Star nailed to the rough wooden carriage. The model comes assembled but not painted. The model comes assembled but unpainted.
